Originality
We have delivered two editions of the course at Elisava Madrid, in 2025 and 2026. The programme is designed for students and professionals who want to understand how generative AI can support their creative practice without replacing the role of the designer. We explore a wide range of tools, models, and workflows, always starting from the creative objective rather than the technology.

Full Workflow
Throughout the week, participants explore image generation, video generation, 3D generation, and other emerging AI technologies. The focus is not on learning tools individually, but on understanding where they can add value across the creative process, helping designers explore more directions, iterate faster, and optimise their time while maintaining control over the final outcome.

Hands-On
The course is structured around a complete project. In just a few hours, participants go from the initial brief and concept development through visual exploration, production, refinement, and final presentation. With our guidance, they experience the entire process and learn to make informed decisions about where AI is useful, where it is not, and how different tools can work together.

Human Criteria
The most important tool is still the designer. We teach participants to approach AI as a creative instrument that needs direction, not as a system that dictates the outcome. The designer remains the Art Director, defining the vision, making the decisions, and using AI to bring that vision further. Strong creative criteria, judgement, and intention are what turn AI capabilities into meaningful design.
